President Vladimir Putin has revealed plans to give his annual report to the Russian parliament on the 21st, with the focus being on the ongoing military operation in Ukraine. The invasion of Ukraine marks its one-year anniversary on the 24th. In his address, President Putin is expected to call for public support for the military campaign. On the other hand, President Joe Biden is set to travel to Poland from June 20-22 where he will deliver a speech, emphasizing the need for international unity in support of Ukraine. The President will provide an update on the situation in Ukraine as of 11th February in USA time.
Putin to report annual report to parliament on 21st:
Russian Presidential Spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, announced on the 10th that President Vladimir Putin will deliver his annual report to the Russian parliament on the 21st, as reported by Russian media. The report will be addressed to both houses of the parliament. According to the electronic version of the economic newspaper RBK, President Putin is also expected to host a rally in support of the current situation on the 22nd at a stadium in Moscow. This rally marks the one-year anniversary since the start of the invasion of Ukraine and aims to inform the public and boost morale.

The White House announced on the 10th that President Biden will embark on a visit to Poland, Ukraine's neighbor, from the 20th to the 22nd. During his visit, President Biden will give a speech reiterating the need for international solidarity in support of Ukraine. In addition to meeting with President Andrzej Duda of Poland, President Biden will hold discussions with leaders from the "Bucharest Nine," a group of nine countries that are members of NATO in Eastern Europe. The aim of the talks is to strengthen NATO's deterrent capabilities.
