At least 30 plus people were killed and more than 150 injured in an explosion at a mosque in Pakistan's northwestern city of Peshawar on Saturday. According to the local police, reported by the Associated Press. A Man enters with detonates suicide vest in the mosque, killing 30 innocent people. TTP claims responsibility. Over 300 people praying at the time. Many are trapped under rubble. IS claimed a similar attack in March 2022, killing more than 45 people.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a group supporting the Afghan Taliban, claims responsibility for the attack via Twitter.
Underway to rescue survivors. The investigation is ongoing.
